Well 2007 in horror seems to be quite the large one of films made! I have only seen three horror films this year, 1408, Halloween, and Saw 4… Of course I had to go see Saw 4 and Halloween. Horror films are on the top of the list when it comes to favorite genre of films I like to see. This Christmas make it a scary one with the Saw trilogy DVD set and just you wait the rest of the 2007 films will be out very soon!
1408:
I saw this movie twice once by myself and once with my family. The movie is really good its a movie based off of Stephen Kings short story. When I first saw it I thought It might be kinda on the iffy side if it was going to be any good. Then it got real good when he went to the hotel and got 1408! This movie is on DVD now!
Halloween (2007):
All I have to say is Rob Zombie is one of my favorite artist and now director! That movie really was done well and brought up to this style of horror films this day and age! Tyler Mane (Michael) was WOW.. Like a huge man for the job! I love directors like Zombie that tend to use the same actors for every film he does (just like Adam Sandler). Even though the ending clearly shows Michael is dead… We all know he cant and wont ever die!
(*Insert evil laughter*)
Saw IV:
Basically if you haven’t seen all three then you wont understand this one at all. These movies are somewhat like the Star wars series. How its starting backwards and going forwards. What Saw 4 does is answers all the questions from Saw 1 & 2 and leaves you with more to wonder with Saw 5! I have read on numerous websites they are going to have installments all the way up to 9! I can’t wait!
